Group post up to ch. 4 - Gabi and Zaid

The first couple chapters of Forged by Fire doesn't start off slow, or boring. It starts off with his childhood, and how his mother treats him, along with everyone else in his life. His mother is a druggie, and leaves him alone in the house most of the time, and the neighbors notice. His Aunt Queen always tried to take care of him but never got a chance to considering the mother wanted to do it herself. The mother abuses Gerald when he doesn't listen to her or does something dangerous ''To teach him a lesson for his own good.'' He gets caught in a fire, all alone by himself, and his neighbor saves him. His mother is arrested and put away in jail for 5 years, and visits Gerald on his 9th birthday as a surprise.
