Exscaping to a new world

How is music laced into the lives of Gerald and Angel, and how does music allow Angel moments of release from her pain? Music is laced into their lives because when angel dances she is a new person. Angel escapes from the bad things outside while shes dancing.Dancing makes her happy , one of the only times she feels she can be her self.Gerald is happy as long as angel is happy and does not feel harmed.Angel nor Jordan seem to think about anything but her dancing when she dances.So it all comes down to the fact that Angel and Gerald are happier when music is playing and angel is dancing .
