Monique is abused as well--physically and emotionally. What do you think is the relationship between domestic violence and child abuse? Why do you think this relationship exists?

Why do i think this relationship last is because. I think Monique feels she has nobody but jordan to love and to talk to to give capital and to support the family. After the first time she found out  that jordan abused angel she didn't believe them and accused them of lying and she went back to jordan.And in spite of the domestic abuse she still love him for some odd reason. At the end of the book i think she finally opened her eyes and realized that she has to step up with her kids and that she can move on without him.That’s why i think the relationship between Monique and Jordan still exists.
