So far this book has had me thinking and wondering what’s gonna happen next how the character gonna act what will happen in the end and things like that. We really are into the book it keeps you on your heels and makes you want to know what's next. This book has a great amount of effect on me because these kids are going through a lot and, it reminds me of my cousin that had an abusive childhood,I was really shocked at the end of chapter 7 how that scene just happens. I’m really looking forward to see how life is with his mother again,Child abuse is all through this book and this website shows that child abuse has gotten really bad  http://health.usnews.com/health-news/news/articles/2012/10/01/child-abuse-injuries-have-risen-study-finds .This book reminds me of a “child called it” because both of these young boys come from very abusive and aggressive mothers.
